so i was getting discouraged with my avocado. i peered into its growing crevice and saw nothing – no shoot, no root, no green. in fact, the whole thing looked like it wanted to give up and split apart. so in my curiousity and my discouragement, i popped the two halves apart, and in the middle….
…. a wee green shoot! a tiny feathery sign of life! oh dear…

I’ve been waiting for my avocado to show up for 3 months. Yesterday, finally, a tiny little “red hat” appeard above the soil (I keep my seed in a flowerpot with soil from the very beginning)
Why don’t you try once again?
